    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida is seeking an Open Rank Faculty to provide Palliative Care services in an outpatient patient care setting. Appointment as a USF faulty member carries with it attending staff privileges at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) and affiliated hospitals. TGH is a level 1 trauma center that serves as a tertiary care facility serving south central and west Florida. Palliative Care Services will be provided at the TGH Cancer Institute. Tampa General Hospital’s Cancer Institute is nationally recognized for world-class care that is revolutionizing cancer treatment and is one of Florida's few cancer centers backed by academic medicine. As a national and global leader in cancer care, TGH is accredited by the Commission on Cancer (CoC) and takes a multidisciplinary approach to delivering high-quality, patient-centered cancer care, and demonstrating a commitment to improving patient outcomes and quality of life for all cancer patients.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Appointment at the rank of Associate Professor requires a minimum of five years of continuing and productive service as an Assistant Professor, or the equivalent.
