Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic with El Nino Underground Maintenance department. Responsibilities and Qualifications: Reporting to the Underground Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, Underground Mobile Maintenance Technician, is responsible for the following: Works as a team member. Works effectively with other crews and departments. Employee consistently follows all safety and company policies and procedures. Maintains the ability to follow directions & to complete quality work. Employee maintains a high level of productivity and demonstrates ability to learn . Offers constructive solutions to problems and issues . Shop Equipment, Tools, & Skills - Must be able to read, comprehend, interpret blueprints & instruction manuals. Hydraulic Systems - Must be able to troubleshoot and repair basic hydraulic systems, Identify & explain component functions on a hydraulic schematic. The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive. Perform other duties as assigned. Five (5) years of light/ heavy mechanical experience preferred. Three (3) years of mining (surface or underground) experience preferred. Some mechanical aptitude required. Strong work ethic and good attendance are required. Ability to use a computer for parts and work order tracking as well as send/receive emails required. Commitment to working safely and to standards required. Strong computer skills preferred.
