Our diverse product offering includes data acquisition, email appends, integrated marketing services, production workflows, custom print production, direct mail solutions, fulfillment and complete lettershop, bindery and mailing services.</p><p><strong>Location</strong>: Hillside, IL</p><p><strong>Reports to:</strong> PrePress Manager</p><p><strong>Responsibilities/Essential Functions:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for producing final press ready PDF pages &amp; proofs for projects</li><li>Convert supplied files and or use supplied instructions to create final files</li><li>Apply trap and print specifications to files</li><li>Ensure high resolution images are connected to page layouts</li><li>Check for page bleed, misaligned font type, perform any image/tint merges as needed</li><li>Output plates for the offset department</li><li>Compliance with all data integrity</li><li>Follow all QC measures assigned to the PrePress department</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years in prepress - direct mail &amp; marketing industry preferred</li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred</li><li>Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Pitstop</li><li>Knowledge of Kodak Prinergy, Workshop, Preps</li><li>Knowledge of Enfocus Pitstop Pro, Microsoft Excel &amp; Word</li><li>Excellent attention to detail</li><li>Must have excellent verbal &amp; written communication</li><li>Must be solution oriented</li><li>Experience handling a variety of pre-press projects</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment/Physical Demands:</strong></p><ul><li>This job requires you to sit in a cubicle or office, on a computer (1 or more monitors) for the majority of the day.</li><li>Cutting physical proofs with sharp objects</li><li>Assist in maintenance aspects within the department</li><li>May be required to work extended/evening hours as needed.</li><li>Ability to walk up &amp; down stairs.</li><li>1st Shift Position</li></ul>",
