          "text": "<p><strong>What’s the Role?</strong></p><p>At <strong>Dexterra Group</strong>, supply chain is more than just logistics—it’s a critical part of delivering high-quality foodservice experiences across Canada and the U.S.</p><p>We’re looking for a <strong>Supply Chain Specialist</strong> who enjoys keeping things moving smoothly and making smart, data‑driven decisions.</p><p>If you understand foodservice supply chains, pricing structures, and supplier dynamics—and enjoy working at the intersection of culinary, operations, and procurement—this role offers real impact.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p><p>In this role, you’ll support national foodservice operations through hands-on category management, supplier coordination, and data-driven decision-making, and make sure the organization is set up with the right goods and services at the right time — and at the right value!</p><ul><li>Supporting execution of category strategies across food, beverage, disposables, and kitchen equipment</li><li>Managing product listings, specifications, and pricing structures aligned to operational needs</li><li>Assisting with RFPs/RFQs, supplier evaluations, and sourcing initiatives</li><li>Identifying opportunities for SKU rationalization, standardization, and cost savings</li><li>Monitoring commodity trends (meat, dairy, produce) to inform pricing and sourcing decisions</li><li>Supporting contract negotiation and management, including pricing models, rebates, and supplier incentives</li><li>Ensuring contract compliance, audit readiness, and accurate rebate tracking</li><li>Acting as a key liaison between supply chain, culinary, operations, and finance teams</li><li>Supporting product substitutions, menu changes, and continuity planning</li><li>Building strong relationships with broadline distributors, manufacturers, and specialty suppliers</li><li>Supporting supplier performance reviews, including service levels, pricing compliance, and product quality</li><li>Analyzing spend data and developing tools for market basket analysis, price tracking, and savings validation</li><li>Communicating and supporting rollout of new products, supplier programs, and procurement initiatives</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>What We're Looking For?</strong></p><ul><li>Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or Food Services—or equivalent experience.</li><li>2–4 years of experience in <strong>foodservice supply chain, procurement, or operations support.</strong></li><li>Direct experience with <strong>food distributors (e.g., Sysco, GFS, Core-Mark) </strong>and pricing/rebate structures.</li><li>Experience supporting <strong>supplier negotiations and RFP processes</strong>.&#xa0;</li><li>Strong Excel and data analysis skills (pricing files, audits, reporting).&#xa0;</li><li>Solid understanding of <strong>foodservice operations and distribution models</strong>.&#xa0;</li><li>Strong <strong>analytical </strong>skills and comfort working with <strong>data </strong>to support decisions.</li><li>Familiarity with contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).</li><li>Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal.</li><li>Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively.</li><li>Solid organizational, time‑management, and decision‑making abilities.</li></ul><p><strong>Also, Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working with commercial agreements or MSAs.</li><li>Exposure to multi‑category procurement environments.</li></ul>",
