    "description": "<p><span>General Laborer/Slit Machine Operator-Integrity Printing</span></p>\n<p><span>FULL TIME - PERMANENT - BENEFITS - COMPETITIVE PAY</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Entry Level - No Experience Needed - Some Mechanical Aptitude Helpful</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>JOB DESCRIPTION</span></p>\n<p><span>Summary /Objective<br></span><span>Prepares, runs, and maintains slit machine equipment and prepares paper rolls used as coupons and advertisements on the backside of register receipts for shipment to customers. </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Essential Functions</span></p>\n<p><em><span>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure operation of slit equipment by following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions.</li>\n<li>Feed rolls through machine cylinders and adjust equipment controls as necessary.</li>\n<li>Collect and inspect random samples during slit runs to identify any needed adjustments.</li>\n<li>Assist with the preparation of shipping materials and resources; ensure proper procedures are followed during slit and shipping processes.</li>\n<li>Expedite the prompt resolution of employee, vendor and customer problems, questions, concerns, and discrepancies.  Notifies the appropriate personnel of situations that are beyond the scope of responsibility level. </li>\n<li>Participate in a wide variety of special projects.</li>\n<li>Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.</li>\n<li>Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Other Duties</span></p>\n<p><span>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. This role routinely uses standard production and mechanized equipment such as slit machines, hand tools, fork trucks, etc. This job requires employees to maintain a physical condition capable of, bending, twisting, standing and walking for long periods, and lifting items up to 75 lbs. </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Position Type/Expected Hours of Work</span></p>\n<p><span>This is a full time or part time position. This position is assigned either a day or evening shift.
