Passed monitor examination within six (6) months post-hire.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Experience: </strong></p>\n<p>Six (6) months of Emergency Care Technician I (JC: 770105) experience (or equivalent) in an emergency department setting. Human Resources (HR) may accept Florida EMT licensure in lieu of the required experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong></p>\n<p>Minimum: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Prefered Certification/License/Registry:</strong>  Licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in accordance with Florida Statutes, Title XXIX (Public Health), Chapter 401 (Medical Telecommunications and Transportation), Part III (Medical Transportation Services).</em></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong> <em>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
