This includes appropriate cleaning and disinfecting of the interior and exterior of the vehicle; appropriate cleaning and disinfecting of equipment; inspecting; restocking and completing daily checklists of the vehicle and equipment; and performing some routine maintenance.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensures security of buildings, vehicles, equipment, medications and all other company property.</li>\r\n\t<li>Performs daily inspections of their base and/or station for cleanliness. Then performs the appropriate housekeeping duties to ensure their living quarters are clean, free from clutter and sanitary at all times.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintains appropriate communications with company dispatch, medical control and other agencies via radio, data link, pager or cell phone as required.</li>\r\n\t<li>Be knowledgeable as to local geography to include location of hospitals, public venues as well as local streets and highway systems.</li>\r\n\t<li>Responds to hospitals, nursing homes and other locations to provide courier and medical transportation services.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provides safe passenger movement from/to wheelchair/stretcher at home, hospitals, nursing homes, airports and other facilities.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provides passenger safety monitoring, enroute to the hospital and during transportation to, from and/or between facilities.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provides passenger monitoring per state law, adhering to company, local, regional, and state guidelines.</li>\r\n\t<li>Appropriately and safely delivers the passenger to the appropriate medical facility.</li>\r\n\t<li>Acts at all times in the best interests of high-quality passenger care, in the best interest of the passenger, and in such a manner to reflect credibly on the company and the professional reputation of the Driver.</li>\r\n\t<li>Acts at all times with his/her personal safety in mind, as well as the safety of his/her partner, the passenger, other personnel, bystanders, and any other public safety personnel present.</li>\r\n\t<li>Accompanies passenger to their destination, continuing to provide appropriate monitoring and passenger advocacy until the responsibility for the passenger has been transferred to an appropriate medical professional and a report has been given.</li>\r\n\t<li>Completes and signs all appropriate documentation for every response and transport.</li>\r\n\t<li>Obtains complete medical histories and billing information for all passengers and/or cargo transported.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintains security and privacy of all company and passenger information at all times in accordance HIPPA and all other local, state and federal regulations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Adheres to Universal Precautions/Body Substance Isolation when dealing with passenger contacts.
