Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">The <strong>Environmental Technician&nbsp;</strong>is responsible for supporting the Environmental department in all services including Phase I/II ESA’s, asbestos &amp; lead-based paint surveys, indoor air quality assessments, soil/groundwater sampling and more. This person will complete fieldwork as well as reporting. This position could travel 25% of the time depending on project load/location.</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><strong>Shift/Schedule:&nbsp;</strong>Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (may vary)</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Support the department on all environmental services including Phase I/II ESAs, asbestos &amp; lead-based paint surveys, indoor air quality assessments, soil and groundwater sampling, and/or field observation documentation.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Assist in the field work, detailed field report, subcontractor coordination, and assessment of proper response actions.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Provide support planning, monitoring, and controlling project budgets and building solid relationships with clients and team members.</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">High School Diploma/GED</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">2+ years of proven technical environmental consulting with Phase I ESAs and/or Asbestos Inspection experience</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Must be detail-oriented, and a team player with excellent communication, analytical, and organization, as well as time and budget management skills</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to one’s discipline</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Ability to travel up to 25% of the time</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Current, Valid Texas Asbestos License</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Texas licensed Asbestos Consultant</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\">OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Training</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><strong>Intertek: Total Quality.
