Most job tasks are conducted outside of traditional office settings with scheduling flexibility.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized support plans.</li><li>Assist clients in accessing resources related to independent living, employment, education, socialization, and recreation.</li><li>Work with both children and adults to promote their overall well-being and integration into the community.</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, including local agencies, schools, employers, and healthcare providers.</li><li>Provide advocacy and support to clients in navigating systems and overcoming barriers.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements</strong></p><p><u>Required</u></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School graduate of General Educational Development (GED) test and a minimum of three (3) years of experience working with the target population.&nbsp;</li><li>Prior experience working with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competency.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum staff training requirements include twenty (20) hours of documented training and/or continuing education.&nbsp;</li><li>Must pass CYFD background/fingerprint clearance check to maintain employment. &nbsp;</li><li>Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification. &nbsp;</li><li>Must be at least 21 years old to comply with GCLC policies and procedures. &nbsp;</li><li>Reliable transportation and maintain a clear driving record in accordance with GCLC policies and procedures. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><u>Preferred&nbsp;</u></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in a human service field from an accredited university,&nbsp;</li><li>Preference given to qualified bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates.</li></ul></div></div></div></div>\n",
