We produce sandwiches and meals for our nation&rsquo;s K12 students and other government programs with an additional focus on providing high volume items for selected Private Brand retail customers. We have a geographic footprint that stretches from coast to coast and our supply chain is domestic.</p><p>With a focus on collaboration, best practices, and continuous improvement, we are looking for people who want to join us for a long career and be part of a great success story.</p><p>Overview</p><p>The Maintenance Supervisor is a hands-on position that is responsible for preventative and routine maintenance task in our USDA food manufacturing plant. The Maintenance Supervisor works with their staff to troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability.</p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Machine maintenance, breaking down equipment, adjusting and setting up for daily production.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Preventative maintenance, which includes daily and weekly inspection on all aspect of machinery.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Develops budgets for plant maintenance, projects and major and minor line improvements.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Schedules, supervises, and directs work of the staff.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Evaluates performance and works with Plant Manager regarding personnel issues.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Able to work overtime and on call 24 hours a day for emergency situations. Weekend work required as needed.</p><p>Qualifications</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Minimum 4 years&rsquo; experience in Food production/ facility maintenance; 3 year&rsquo;s supervisory experience</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Must have previous experience reading schematics</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience with SQF or other GFSI program</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>College degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering; equivalent experience may be substituted for educational requirement</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Must be a proactive team player who learns quickly when facing new problems and a learner open to change</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>ADVANCED mechanical and electrical skills</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Must be able to work with power tools and work on high and low voltages. Have own tools</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Equipment knowledge of: Weber Slicers, Thermoformers , Multi-Vac Tray Sealers , Flow wrappers &amp; Labelers, Ink Jet Printers.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Able to read engineering schematic such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic and pneumatic</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Welding experience</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Light Carpentry</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Excellent communication skills.
