font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Description</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The Estimator is a motivated, organized, and personable individual willing to contribute his/her experience and expertise in the area of estimating.  The Estimator prepares quotations based on reviewing construction drawings and specifications and provides support and assistance to his coworkers in a team environment.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Task &amp; Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Preparation of quotations based on reviewing construction drawings and specifications</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Lay out of fire protection systems, including but not limited to: sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire pump and special fire suppression systems in accordance with codes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Produce a quantity take off list of material, labour and other construction factors to produce a cost estimate.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Preparation of a detailed quotation letter to send to customer(s) in a competitive situation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Communication with General Contractors, Engineers, Architects and Owners.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Complete site visits to determine existing conditions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Meet with clients and build customer relationships </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Well versed in sprinkler system design </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Minimum 3 years’ experience in the field </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Educational background in Fire Protection or similar field is an asset</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Sound knowledge of the relevant and applicable Ontario codes and NFPA</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Superior math and analytical skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Excellent communication and presentation skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">A proven track record of working well within a team</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The desire/passion to learn and hone your skill-set</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The ability to work autonomously</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">A dedicated work ethic</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">A valid driver’s license</span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif;
