With over 300 employees, United Electric is headquartered in New Castle, Delaware with locations throughout Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia and New York.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to take ownership of the assembly process from start to finish. In this role, you will assemble fabricated parts and wiring, calibrate and test components, and ensure finished units meet quality and customer specifications. You&rsquo;ll work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are essential. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable with repetitive work, and willing to support both assembly and warehouse operations to meet production and delivery deadlines.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Position Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assemble fabricated parts, wiring and adjusting subassemblies to complete units.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform testing and quality assurance as assigned.&nbsp;</li><li>Receive, pull, and cycle count department inventory as assigned.&nbsp;</li><li>Effectively calibrate and test parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.&nbsp;</li><li>Use hand tools when necessary.&nbsp;</li><li>Pack finished product in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform all functions of the job by correctly following instructions and pre-established guidelines and procedures. &nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a safe, orderly, and efficient assembly area.&nbsp;</li><li>Work closely with the warehouse, combining individual efforts to better serve the customer.
