With over 12 billion die in stock, Rochester can manufacture over 70,000 device types.</em></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>General Summary</u></strong></p><p>This role is responsible for leading a team of up to 20 assembly operators who perform the setup and operation of microelectronics assembly equipment, including die and wafer processing, chip-and-wire assembly, assembly of various components, screening, visual inspection, measurement, and sorting of semiconductor devices. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Lead team in scheduling and planning manufacturing priorities</li><li>Operation of manual, automatic, and semi-automatic microelectronics assembly equipment</li><li>Leverage a thorough understanding of die and package inspection to ensure compliance with target specifications including military, JEDEC, and ISO standards</li><li>Follow defined specifications and reaction paths per written/verbal instruction</li><li>Use multiple hand tools to manually process delicate products without damaging components</li><li>Oversee and adhere to all applicable ESD protocols in handling products during the manufacturing and inspection processes</li><li>Train Assembly Operators on equipment operation and assembly process</li><li>Maintain well-organized and audit ready work areas</li><li>Work in an ISO class 7 cleanroom environment</li><li>Utilize computer-based manufacturing systems to move product and enter data</li><li>Will be required to use high and low powered microscopes</li><li>Active member of problem solving and process improvement teams</li><li>Work with engineers and technicians to write and update operator specifications</li><li>Assist in the documentation and recording of applicable KPI&rsquo;s</li><li>Understanding and implementing 6 Sigma and LEAN principles</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED is required&nbsp;</li><li>5 years of related electronic/semiconductor assembly experience</li><li>Skills<ol><li>Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office&reg; software suite.</li><li>Ability to communicate verbally and written</li><li>Maintain a high level of attention to detail</li></ol></li><li>Prior lead experience within a cleanroom environment a plus</li><li>Demonstrable organization skills</li><li>Comfort and ability to work in an ISO class 7 cleanroom environment required</li><li>Comfort and ability to use high and low powered microscopes required</li><li>As a Rochester employee it is expected that the individual represents, supports, and encourages the Rochester culture by adhering to work policies and practices set by the company</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><em>Rochester Electronics is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
