In this role, you will help create a safe, supportive, and dignified environment where families can stabilize and thrive. If you are passionate about serving others, down-to-earth, and ready to make a real difference, you will fit right in.<br><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Do (Essential Responsibilities)</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Foster a Safe Community:</span> Monitor the site, manage entry/exit logs, and ensure only authorized individuals access the facility. Conduct regular safety walk-throughs.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Support Daily Living:</span> Assist residents with community living guidelines, monitor curfews, and help maintain a clean, organized, and home-like environment (including light cleaning and tidying shared spaces).</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Be a Grounded Presence:</span> Respond to resident needs and crisis situations with calm professionalism. Utilize conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques when challenges arise.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Communicate &amp; Collaborate:</span> Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports. Participate in smooth shift handovers to ensure team alignment.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Deliver Compassionate Care:</span> Treat all residents with the utmost respect, cultural sensitivity, and dignity.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED (some college is a plus!).</li>\n<li>Experience working in a residential, shelter, community living, or social services environment is strongly preferred.</li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to remain calm in fast-paced or challenging situations.</li>\n<li>Comfortable assisting with light cleaning and facility organization.</li>\n<li>Basic computer literacy for digital logging and shift reports.</li>\n<li>A valid California driver’s license and reliable, insured auto transportation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment &amp; Physical Demands</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Our team works directly on the frontlines of crisis intervention. Candidates should be comfortable walking, climbing stairs, standing for extended periods, and navigating a dynamic environment.</p>\n<p>Because we serve families experiencing acute crises, you may encounter individuals dealing with illness, substance use challenges, or high-stress trauma.
