You will layout printed circuit boards from schematics. To be successful in this role, you&rsquo;ll need to complete design documentation/release and manage/maintain library for individual components.</p><p><strong>THIS POSITION MAY BE FOR YOU IF&hellip;</strong></p><ul><li>You have a technical degree in electronics or electrical related background.</li><li>You have a minimum 5 years relevant design/layout experience.</li><li>You have PCB layout software experience (PADS preferred).</li><li>You are proficient with Microsoft Office.</li><li>You have strong attention to detail.</li><li>You are organized, focused and results oriented.</li><li>You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.</li><li>You have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.</li></ul><p><strong>WE WOULD REALLY LIKE IT IF&hellip; (but it&rsquo;s not a deal breaker)</strong></p><ul><li>You have a working knowledge of AutoCAD.</li><li>You have experience with Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles.</li><li>You have both high speed and high power PCB layout experience.</li></ul><p><strong>WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT&hellip;</strong></p><ul><li>Design layout of printed circuit board files from electrical schematic information, including:</li><li>Coordination of mechanical and electrical requirements to meet product definition</li><li>Library creation and maintenance of components and associated symbology</li><li>Complete documentation of the design in the required formats</li><li>Complete engineering activities related to the procurement, build, and troubleshooting of circuit board designs and their interfaces</li><li>Support production facilities in the manufacture and testing of products</li><li>Complete component package evaluation and qualification including research, selection, testing, and documentation</li><li>Develop PCB Layout standards, practices, and guidelines in accordance with internal requirements, industry standards, and external manufacturability specifications</li><li>Work with board creation, manufacturing assembly, and component suppliers</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed</li><li>Complete Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) of new and existing designs</li><li>Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM)</li></ul><p><strong>WE ARE ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO WORK&hellip;</strong></p><ul><li>We provide competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.</li><li>We promote an environment where you can excel in your career while still maintaining a healthy work-life balance.</li><li>Our facility is climate controlled, clean, organized, and safe.
