This role focuses on improving asset reliability, reducing downtime, and implementing long-term engineering solutions that enhance performance, safety, and cost efficiency.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>1. Asset Reliability &amp; Performance</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor equipment performance and analyze failure&nbsp;data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.</li><li>Develop and implement reliability improvement plans for critical equipment.</li><li>Participate in <strong>Root Cause Analysis (RCA)</strong> using methods such as 5-Why, Fishbone, or FMEA.</li></ul><p><strong>2. Predictive &amp; Preventive Maintenance</strong></p><ul><li>Design and optimize predictive maintenance strategies&nbsp;(vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, NDE Inspection, etc.).</li><li>Support maintenance teams in developing preventive maintenance procedures.</li><li>Maintain reliability models and equipment histories.</li></ul><p><strong>3. Engineering Analysis &amp; Optimization</strong></p><ul><li>Evaluate equipment design and recommend modifications to improve reliability or reduce life-cycle costs.</li><li>Perform risk assessments and reliability modeling &nbsp;(e.g. RBM, TPM, RCM, etc).</li><li>Review system specifications to ensure alignment with reliability standards.</li></ul><p><strong>4. Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></p><ul><li>Work closely with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams.</li><li>Provide technical support during equipment failures or downtime events.</li><li>Lead multidisciplinary meetings to implement reliability improvements.</li></ul><p><strong>5.
