    "description": "<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Department:</strong> Security</li>\n <li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday - Wednesday 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Saturday - Sunday 6:30 AM (Off Days Thursday & Friday)</li>\n <li><strong>Work Location:</strong> UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham</li>\n <li><strong>Benefits for eligible positions only include:</strong> Generous Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and More </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Do</h2>\n<p>Provide security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats.</li>\n <li>Investigate, document and manage security incidents and hazards.</li>\n <li>Maintain knowledge/follow policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans. May facilitate planned drills and simulations.</li>\n <li>Train and mentor staff on environment of care and emergency management processes and procedures. Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote safety.</li>\n <li>Provide for traffic and parking enforcement within campus area and participate in foot and vehicle patrols.</li>\n <li>Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel.</li>\n <li>Operate vehicle in a safe and responsible manner to avoid accidents and traffic or parking violations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Need</h2>\n<p>Licensure / Certification / Registration:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Drivers License credentialed from the Alabama Department of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.</li>\n <li>BLS Provider preferred.
