SPORTIME clubs serve individuals of every age and athletic ability, 365 days a year.<br><br>LOCATION: Sportime QUOGUE, East Quogue, NY<br><br>JOB SUMMARY:<br>The Swim Instructor / Water Safety Instructor will teach Private Swim Lessons, Adult and Child Red Cross Learn-to-Swim and Infant/Toddler Swim Instruction. Lessons may be scheduled at our facility or at private homes.<br><br>RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Private swim lessons</li><li>Deliver a 5-Star guest experience</li><li>Maintain a safe and healthy environment for swimmers at each location you teach</li><li>Promote all aspects of the club and Sportime programs</li><li>Maintain a log of lessons given, ensure swim lessons in scheduler are accurate and pull a voucher or take payment prior to each lesson</li><li>Develop and maintain cooperative work relationships with others</li></ul><br>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:<ul><li>Must have current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification</li><li>Demonstrate swimming skills consistent with an aquatics professional by swimming the following strokes: front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, backstroke, sidestroke, butterfly, and tread water for 1 minute.</li><li>Must have a flexible schedule to include early mornings, evenings and weekends</li><li>Ability to work outdoors during warm summer months</li><li>Ability to swim and carry adults to safety</li><li>Must have reliable transportation to travel to offsite lessons</li><li>Excellent guest service skills</li></ul><br>WORK CONTEXT:<ul><li>In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications set forth above, this position requires physical activity, including but not limited to:</li><li>Lifting (up to 50 lbs.), carrying, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, stretching, twisting and reaching using entire body and a</li><li>Use of both fine and gross motor skills</li><li>Sit and to stand for long periods of time</li></ul><br>HOURLY RATE: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour for in camp instruction<br>                           $50.00 per hour for private swim lessons<br><br>SCHEDULE: June 29, 2026 - September 4, 2026<br>                     Monday - Friday 9:30am -3:30pm.
