    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:&nbsp;</strong>The Mechanic repairs and maintains all equipment associated with the Golf Course Maintenance Department by performing the following duties:</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Lubricates and services all golf course maintenance equipment.</li><li>Inspects equipment for operating deficiencies.</li><li>Repairs and adjusts equipment.</li><li>Maintains repair records on all equipment.</li><li>Trains maintenance staff on the proper use of equipment and the correct maintenance methods.</li><li>Demonstrates the use of new equipment.</li><li>Maintains safety procedures for all equipment and keeps required records.</li><li>Trains operators on the care and use of new equipment.</li><li>Performs general overhaul and other preventative maintenance on all equipment.</li><li>Adheres to standards and guidelines, as set by Management.</li><li>Other duties, as assigned by the Director of Golf Course Maintenance, Head Superintendent/Project Manager, Equipment Manager, AGM, COO</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Education / Experience</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Must have at least 3-5 years of Golf Course experience.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Must be able to learn or use a grinder effectively and be proficient or the ability to learn to at work with commercial golf course and grounds equipment.</li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively verbally.</li><li>Ability to understand, interpret and follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Licenses or Certificates</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\">None required.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements&nbsp;</strong><em>(The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
