At Great Parks, our team members work together to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations.&nbsp;<br><p><br></p><p>This part-time position works various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position greets and serves guests, handles guest inquiries, cash handling, and operates a Point of Sale system. Standard practice allows employee to proceed alone on regular duties with questionable situations referred to supervisor.</p><p><u><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></u></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks&#39; policies, procedures, and performance expectations. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains confidentiality of confidential and sensitive information.&nbsp;</li><li>Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance and works outside of normal schedule as required. &nbsp;</li><li>Greets and serves guests to ensure satisfaction. Handles guest inquires.</li><li>Opens facilities and prepares for daily business. Closes and secures facilities at end of business day.</li><li>Operates point-of-sale system, reservation system, cash box and cash register.</li><li>Assists guests at welcome entrance booths, sells and monitors compliance of motor vehicle permits.</li><li>Maintains cleanliness of guest and employee areas including restrooms. &nbsp;May include other housekeeping duties.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Skills:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Great customer service experience preferred</li><li>Has ability to demonstrate written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Has basic math skills and basic computer skills.</li><li>Cross training is encouraged! &nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong><strong>:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Must be at least 18 years of age or older with a valid drivers&#39; license.</li><li>Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>LICENSE OF CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p><ul><li>State Motor Vehicle Operator&rsquo;s License that meets GPHC current carrier guidelines.</li></ul><p>Benefits include membership in Ohio Public Employees Retirement System and free or discounted use of many Great Parks&#39; recreational activities.&nbsp;</p><p>Great Parks is an equal employment opportunity employer.
