    "description": "<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Position Summary:</span></span></span><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">The Registered Dietitian/Dietetic Technician promotes individual and population health through nutrition education initiatives for diverse populations in Lake and Geauga Counties.  Provides medical nutrition therapy, nutrition and lifestyle education, as well has health promotion in community projects and events.</span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Essential Duties:</span></span></span><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Performs comprehensive individual and family assessments which include health history, physical assessment, growth monitoring, developmental assessment, psycho-social assessment, assessment of family functioning, assessment for substance abuse or domestic violence issues, and assessment of basic needs including food, housing, income, resources and supports, and access to health care.  Participates in quality improvement activities.</span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Other Duties &amp; Responsibilities: </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></span><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">All health district employees have an emergency response role and may be expected to respond to threats to the public’s health in accordance with the Lake County General Health District Emergency Response Plan;</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"> </span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Performs other duties as assigned consistent with position. </span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Minimum Qualifications: </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></span><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, or related degree, is required, along with a license to practice from the State Medical Board of Ohio; Or Active RN-ANS/BSN license; Also, Dietetic Technician Registered can apply.</span></span><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Incumbent must maintain registration and licensure to maintain employment;  </span></span><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must have and maintain a valid State of Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.</span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-size: 16px\">The Lake County General Health District does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factor.</span></span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
