This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining secure cloud native platforms and DevOps pipelines within a Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The engineer will work across infrastructure, platform engineering, and development teams to ensure systems are secure, scalable, automated, and highly available.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This position requires a senior engineer capable of operating independently while helping shape platform architecture, automation strategies, and DevSecOps practices supporting mission systems.</p>\n<p>Responsibilities</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Support the development and modernization of mission systems operating within Azure based cloud environments</p>\n<p>Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration and deployment pipelines optimized for performance and scalability across Azure and hybrid cloud environments</p>\n<p>Design and implement cloud native infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automated configuration management</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Develop and maintain CI CD pipelines using modern DevOps tooling to enable rapid and reliable application delivery</p>\n<p>Leverage Azure platform capabilities and industry best practices to improve platform scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Overview</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with software engineers, mission application teams, and infrastructure engineers to build secure and reliable development environments</li>\n<li>Integrate security and compliance controls into platform services including identity management, encryption, secrets management, and policy enforcement</li>\n<li>Support platform operations, system reliability, monitoring, and performance tuning across production environments</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues within Azure and hybrid Windows environments</li>\n<li>Required Skills</li>\n<li>10 to 15 plus years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering</li>\n<li>Strong experience working within Microsoft Azure cloud environments including core services such as Azure Compute, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, and Azure Identity</li>\n<li>Extensive experience with Windows Server administration and Windows based infrastructure</li>\n<li>Experience designing and deploying cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep</li>\n<li>Strong experience building and maintaining CI CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, or similar DevOps platforms</li>\n<li>Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting frameworks</li>\n<li>Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments integrating on premise systems with Azure cloud services</li>\n<li>Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service</li>\n<li>Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and reliability practices using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar tools</li>\n<li>Experience supporting secure environments and implementing security best practices within cloud platforms</li>\n<li>Experience working in Agile development environments such as Scrum or Kanban</li>\n<li>Strong troubleshooting and systems engineering skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desired Skills</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience designing cloud native applications within Azure environments</li>\n<li>Experience supporting Azure Kubernetes Service or container orchestration platforms</li>\n<li>Experience integrating DevSecOps practices into cloud development pipelines</li>\n<li>Experience supporting large scale distributed mission systems</li>\n<li>Experience developing automation using PowerShell, Python, or C Sharp</li>\n<li>Experience working within classified or air gapped cloud environments</li>\n<li>Experience implementing Zero Trust architecture and identity driven security models</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex technical problems efficiently</li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across development, infrastructure, and mission teams</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Overview of Benefits</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Company Funded 401k Profit Sharing Plan - 25 percent of base pay deposited every pay period - Vested day one of employment</li>\n<li>All Health Care Benefits and Premiums paid by company and with company HSA contribution</li>\n<li>Quarterly Equity Share Bonuses</li>\n<li>250 hours of PTO with up to 40 hours available to be carried over</li>\n<li>Biannual Company Sponsored Events for the employees and their families</li>\n<li>Education Benefits - Certification reimbursement and tuition reimbursement</li>\n</ul>",
