Our ECC nursing staff are an integral part of providing this level of care.  Experience working in an environment that encourages collaboration and growth alongside our 3 board certified criticalists, ECC residents, and experienced ER clinicians. These resources allow for an environment of continual learning and advanced skill development for all the members of our ECC team at VSH.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><strong>About the Job: </strong> As a Vet Tech in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) you will be responsible for:</span></p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Collecting samples, placing IV catheters, prepare IV fluids and additives, obtain arterial blood gas samples</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Calculating and administering medication, fluid additives, CRI's </span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Obtaining and reporting vitals, monitoring telemetry, monitor oxygen dependent patients</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Placement and maintenance of nasogastric tube, nasal cannula, central venous catheters</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Must be able to prioritize patient hourly treatments and delegate tasks.
