We are looking for a team player that can help build a positive environment with a desire to work in an interdisciplinary healthcare team and with a culturally diverse patient population. Responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Working in a fast-paced medical office setting</li>\n <li>Assisting providers with delivering quality patient care</li>\n <li>Obtaining and recording vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.)</li>\n <li>Performing basic medical procedures such as blood draws and EKGs</li>\n <li>Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens</li>\n <li>Recording patient information in electronic health records (EHR) systems</li>\n <li>Answering phones, responding to inquiries, and relaying information to providers</li>\n <li>Adhering to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality</li>\n <li>Contributing to a positive and cooperative team environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We're Looking For:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of medical terminology and common medical documentation preferred</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)</li>\n <li>Medical Assistant Certification or Registered Medical Assistant preferred– Must obtain certification within 18 months of hire date if not currently certified (We can help you get it – ask us how!)</li>\n <li>Licensed Practical Nurses – NC licensure preferred (we will pay for your license renewal!)</li>\n <li>Medical phone triage experience preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to float between nearby clinical sites as needed</li>\n <li>Bi-Lingual (preferred, but not required – we pay extra per hour for your language skills)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Blue Ridge Health:</h2>\n<p>At Blue Ridge Health our mission is to improve Health, inspire Hope, and advance Healing through access to Compassionate, Affordable, and Quality Care.
