    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>This position is designed for the general maintenance of all buildings, grounds and vehicles of The Salvation Army New Kensington Corps and to aid with transportation per Salvation Army business</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for all maintenance and janitorial duties according to schedule.</li>\n <li>Exterior responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Daily trash pick-up.</li>\n  <li>Seasonal snow shoveling, snow blowing, ice melt application as needed.</li>\n  <li>Seasonal grass cutting, weed trimming, brush/tree trimming, as needed.</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Interior responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Removal of trash.</li>\n  <li>Daily restroom cleaning.</li>\n  <li>Sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture and cleaning windows.</li>\n  <li>Stripping, waxing and buffing floors, as assigned .</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Setting up and taking down tables and chairs for various programs at the discretion of immediate supervisor.</li>\n <li>Monitor inventories of maintenance supplies and request materials as needed.</li>\n <li>Check all doors at the beginning and end of shift.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all Salvation Army vehicles are properly maintained through direction of the Corps Officer.</li>\n <li>Run errands, conduct pick-ups, per Salvation Army business, as assigned.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned by the Corps Officer.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em> </em></strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to work effectively, independently and as a member of a team.</li>\n <li>Must have pleasant personality and be able to work well with other employees and must be of a confidential nature.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lead and direct other maintenance workers such as community services workers, volunteers, etc.</li>\n <li>Must have sufficient knowledge to properly operate floor maintenance equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>All three PA Clearances required upon employment and thereafter upon renewal date: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, Request for Criminal Record, and Fingerprint based federal criminal history.</li>\n <li>PA Mandated and Permissive Reporting and The Salvation Army's KeepSAfe training required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em><u> </u></em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em> </em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Education and Experience:</u></em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em> </em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent</li>\n <li>Current valid Driver’s License</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em><u> </u></em></strong></p>",
