The Patient Account Registrar collaborates closely with the Admitting team and communicates effectively with patients across all age groups. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/PRN as needed. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Shifts Available:</strong> Days</p>\n<p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Per Diem (PD/PRN) </p>\n<p><strong>Hours:</strong> Variable </p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>DMCMG - Mesquite, TX</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: </em></strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive compensation  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical insurance benefit plan </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>401K  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>coordinate with nursing staff, case managers, and physicians to assign beds for incoming patients based on medical needs, availability, and urgency </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor bed occupancy and status in real-time using hospital information systems </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>act as a liaison between various hospital departments to facilitate smooth patient transfers and optimize bed usage </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Update patient data in the hospital’s electronic medical record (EMR) system to reflect admissions, discharges, and transfers accurately </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Run reports and analyze bed utilization trends to support hospital operations </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
