    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">Join the team at Laboratory Testing LLC. as a Fatigue and Fracture Test Technician, where you&#39;ll play a pivotal role in advancing our fracture mechanics department. In this hands-on position, you&#39;ll operate sophisticated servo-hydraulic test frames to conduct critical fatigue and fracture mechanics tests, including fatigue crack growth and fracture toughness.&nbsp;</p><p>Working closely with the Laboratory Manager and fellow technicians, you&#39;ll set up equipment, measure and prepare specimens, and ensure all testing procedures adhere to NADCAP or OEM guidelines. Your attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and proactive approach will be essential as you monitor tests, document results, and maintain calibration of lab equipment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to large testing programs, improve operational procedures, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety in a collaborative environment.&nbsp;</p><p>If you&#39;re ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic lab setting, we want to hear from you.</p><p><strong>T</strong><strong>his is a 1st shift role working Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm at our facility in Hatfield, PA</strong>.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Operate servo-hydraulic test frames to perform fatigue and fracture mechanics tests.</li><li>Set up equipment, fixtures, and software for tests as appropriate.</li><li>Measure and prepare specimens for testing.</li><li>Ensure that test equipment and instruments are functioning properly and in calibration.</li><li>Monitor tests for anomalies and resolve any issues proactively with engineering management.</li><li>Measure specimens after testing and document test results.</li><li>Perform calibration of instrumentation and lab equipment</li><li>Assist with maintenance of test equipment.&nbsp;</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>Other Duties and Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 11px;\"><li>Receive and complete various training, as appropriate</li><li>Work with Quality Assurance to certify test reports on a timely and accurate basis</li><li>Provide feedback to improve procedures and operational work instructions that support testing operations</li><li>Support safety walkthroughs and report safety issues to lab management</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>2+ years&rsquo; experience or equivalent education experience in a mechanical work environment.</li><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.</li><li>Ability to be proactive and be self-sufficient, and to work with minimal supervision.</li><li>Must meet citizenship eligibility required by accrediting bodies.</li></ul><p>This position requires use of information or access to processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export laws including but not limited to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
