We have experience working with some of the largest mechanical contractors in Florida, striving to be the state’s go-to choice for controls installation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a division of EMCOR Services MSI (MSI), we back their extensive expertise with our broad HVAC and mechanical capabilities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are a Drug Free Workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:</strong>                             Low-Voltage Installer</p>\n<p><strong>Department:</strong>                       Controls</p>\n<p><strong>FLSA Status:                        </strong>Hourly</p>\n<p><strong>Reports to:</strong>                         Controls Manager</p>\n<p><strong>Salary:                                 </strong>Commensurate with experience + Benefits</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong>: Calibrated Controls seeks a Low-Voltage Installer to assist in the installation of conduit, wire, able, equipment, components, and devices associated with energy management systems including electric/electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.  </p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Read, review, and execute project related documents such as blueprints, drawings, project scope, budgets, deadlines, and sequence of operation for proper execution requirements</li>\n <li>Learn from and support your field foremen.</li>\n <li>Follow wire and conduit run plans and be able to comprehend your part in the project.</li>\n <li>Label and pull wires from beginning to end.</li>\n <li>Mount control panels and wire in power while using basic electrical tools.</li>\n <li>Mount junction boxes and other electrical connection devices.</li>\n <li>Installation of conduit and cabling management & support infrastructure systems while using basic electrical tools.</li>\n <li>Run and bend conduit as needed. </li>\n <li>Wire panels and devices with PTP drawings.</li>\n <li>Learn to layout of Mechanical Room for conduit and device locations.</li>\n <li>Learn to troubleshoot or identify communication issues.</li>\n <li>Learn to map and install transformer banks.</li>\n <li>Learn to troubleshoot and repair circuits, wiring, devices, and networks (know how to use a multimeter)</li>\n <li>Provide trust & leadership to your whole team as well as customers</li>\n <li>Build & wire BAS control panels (in-shop or in-field)</li>\n <li>Other Job Duties (Duties listed are not intended to be all inclusive nor to limit duties that might be assigned)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>0-5+ years’ industry experience is desired</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Candidate is required to be organized, detail oriented and have time management skills.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, or in a team atmosphere while acting responsibly and maintaining a professional attitude.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in constricted spaces.</li>\n <li>Valid Florida Driver's License.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrate basic level aptitude as it relates to control systems.</li>\n <li>Good written and verbal communications skills.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of good customer service techniques.</li>\n <li>Congenial personality and a helpful attitude.</li>\n <li>Physical activities of standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders, walking and lifting of weights of 50 lbs or more are required in daily performance of job.
