We seek employees who bring different and innovative ways of seeing the world and solving problems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Drives mammography mammovan to various screening sites throughout Puget Sound; selects routes best suited for travel; ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal Department of Transportation (DOT) laws and regulations; schedules regular service and maintenance for truck and cars and keeps records of all such service; performs site surveys; coordinates daily image transfer from mammovan to clinic for radiologist review; while on shift performs all set up activities to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This position will be Per Diem, with shifts available Monday-Friday from 5:30am - 6:00pm. Shifts are not guaranteed and will be available only when coverage is need.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs daily pre-trip check and complete checklist forms; Troubleshoots mechanical equipment problems and determines if service is necessary.</li>\n <li>Coordinates the daily image transfer from mobile to clinic for radiologists reading.</li>\n <li>Performs site surveys and creates driving directions ensuring accessibility and parking availability for staff and patients.</li>\n <li>Always assures the comfort and safety of the patient.</li>\n <li>Daily restocking of supplies; demonstrates a cost-effective use of supplies and materials.</li>\n <li>Maintains an excellent driving record; reports all infractions or accidents to appropriate authorities and supervisor immediately; completes all accident reports.</li>\n <li>Provides on-site training as needed.</li>\n <li>Maintains current WA State Class “A” commercial driver’s license.</li>\n <li>Participates in random drug and alcohol screening tests.</li>\n <li>Provides courier services during the day to move necessary people and/or supplies between Fred Hutch campus locations, patient housing sites.</li>\n <li>Practicing proper housekeeping by keeping job sites & trucks clean, putting tools away, and ensuring an organized workspace</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School or GED</li>\n <li>Washington State Class “A” commercial driver’s license Current medical examination report filed with the WA State Department of Transportation associated with Class “A” commercial driver’s license.</li>\n <li>2 years of commercial driving experience</li>\n <li>Must have good customer relations skills.</li>\n <li>Must have no major infractions or accidents for the past three consecutive years</li>\n <li>Must be able to pass driving road test</li>\n <li>Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form.</li>\n <li>Computer and MS program skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to prioritize work assignments and adjust tasks as needed.</li>\n <li>Able to demonstrate flexibility in response to unexpected changes in work volumes or staffing needs (may include overtime, flexing, rotating shifts, weekends, holidays)</li>\n</ul>The hourly pay range for this position is from $35.95 to $51.19, which includes the per diem differential, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.  Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.
