    "description": "<p>This position is on 2nd shift&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p>JOB SUMMARY: Inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.</p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p>1. Inspect in-process materials.</p>\n\n<p>2. Inspect finished goods.</p>\n\n<p>3. Maintain records and samples according to procedures.</p>\n\n<p>4. Complete necessary quality assurance forms to ensure control of accepted and rejected products tested including reject tags, and certifications.</p>\n\n<p>5. Certify core material for customer qualification and acceptance programs.</p>\n\n<p>6. Perform internal audits and over-the-shoulder inspections.</p>\n\n<p>7. Pre-approval and inspection of incoming process materials.</p>\n\n<p>8. Documentation of scrap in the core department.</p>\n\n<p>9. Coordinate work in conjunction with manufacturing and sales to ensure product is inspected in a timely fashion.</p>\n\n<p>10. Conduct on-the-job training for operators in the use of measuring tools, manufacturing processes, manufacturing instructions, department duties, and print reading.</p>\n\n<p>11. Review and document quality requirements on all new work orders.</p>\n\n<p>12. Work with Customer Service on issues of customer complaints, waivers for non-conforming process materials, and returned goods.</p>\n\n<p>13. Conduct prototype testing to evaluate product performance. Coordinate Testing with Plascore Laboratories.</p>\n\n<p>14. Occasional visits to vendor or customer locations to participate in problem solving or defining quality requirements.</p>\n\n<p>15. Review manufacturing instructions and process specifications for approval.</p>\n\n<p>16. Complete requirements and obtain certifications for Customer Designated Quality Representative/Inspector. Inspect parts on behalf of customer.</p>\n\n<p>17. Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment and methods</p>\n\n<p>18.
