This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible role where you'll partner directly with executive leadership and help build processes, structure, and best practices from the ground up.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">What You'll Own</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Oversee accounting operations across multiple real estate entities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Manage property accounting, property taxes, and insurance activities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Lead CAM reconciliations across the portfolio</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Handle construction accounting for three active developments, including a major mixed-use \"live/work/play\" project currently underway</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Develop and manage WIP reporting, lien releases, and asset component tracking processes</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Build accounting workflows, SOPs, and financial controls for the real estate division</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Partner closely with the SVP of Asset Management to help establish and scale the finance function</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Supervise and mentor a team of 2–3 accounting professionals</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Introduce new ideas, efficiencies, and best practices to strengthen the organization</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across all entities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Utilize Yardi to manage accounting and property-related functions</span></li>\n<li><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Why This Role Is Unique</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">This is a newly created function within a rapidly growing organization. The company expanded quickly and is now investing in building the infrastructure and processes needed to support continued growth.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">✔ Commercial real estate accounting experience, including both property management and construction accounting ideally</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">✔ 5+ years of accounting expereince with Controller experience or a strong Accounting Manager ready to step into a Controller role</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">✔ Experience with CAM reconciliations and job costing</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">✔ Hands-on experience with Yardi</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">✔ Experience building, leading, and developing small teams</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">✔ Strong process improvement mindset and ability to implement best practices</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">*************LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY *********</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Please Note: This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
