We are currently seeking a Full-Time Porter to join our team in Port Washington, NY. Area of Responsibilities Responsible for performing all daily NY facility janitorial duties. Other general NY facility and equipment maintenance duties may be assigned. Must be able to read and write English May require use of a respirator in clean room areas. Responsible for floor maintenance and use of floor cleaning equipment Assist in site snow removal Including being able to lift 50LBS and climb ladders to perform work. The performance and completion of these duties will be performed in accordance with the guidelines of the company’s SOP’s. Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical Demands : Must be physically able to carry our all normal duties required of a maintenance department staff. S kills and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred 1-3 years in janitorial services, pharmaceutical facility experience preferred General knowledge of cleaning equipment, procedures, and floor maintenance Previous maintenance experience preferred Must be able to read and write English Understanding electrical systems. Understanding mechanical systems. Understanding of plumbing and piping systems.
