We oversee every construction phase to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What you’ll be challenged to do:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Resident Engineer, you will lead projects consisting of the construction of new and renovation or replacement of wastewater infrastructure including treatment facilities, pump stations, and collection systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and process controls and flood protection. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>In the capacity, you will be responsible for the following:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide Quality Assurance and technical guidance </li>\n <li>Review/Approve monthly pay estimates with Contractors </li>\n <li>Prepare/Review correspondence to and from the Contractors and owner </li>\n <li>Schedule and oversee testing agencies </li>\n <li>Oversee maintenance of project records </li>\n <li>Facilitate response to contractor Requests for Information </li>\n <li>Coordinate equipment and facility start-up activities </li>\n <li>Conduct and/or facilitate construction meetings </li>\n <li>Coordinate and manage inspectors and on-site personnel </li>\n <li>Prepare/Review change order documents </li>\n <li>Assist Document Control staff with Contractor schedule compliance </li>\n <li>Prepare progress reports Prepare Substantial and Final Completion documents</li>\n</ul>\n<h2></h2>\n<h3><strong>What you will bring to our firm:</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline </li>\n <li>10+ years construction experience with wastewater treatment plants</li>\n <li>Effectively and responsively communicate verbally and in writing with all project and team members (i.e., contractors, owners, sub consultants, designers, architects and fellow team members)</li>\n <li>Experience with various collection and conveyance pipe projects </li>\n <li>Experience working on DEP wastewater projects</li>\n <li>Skilled at reading and interpreting plans and contract specifications Ability to safely navigate construction work sites with varying and uneven terrain  </li>\n <li>Stand and sit as needed on project work sites, climb ladders, work at heights, and work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions, periodic weekend and night work may be required </li>\n <li>Effectively utilize computer systems and software for documentation and data management like Procore</li>\n <li>Read, analyze and evaluate construction schedules</li>\n <li>Must possess OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification or the ability to obtain within 3 months of hire</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>What we prefer you bring:</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>PE Preferred;  CCM desirable</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Compensation:</strong></h3>\n<p>The salary range for this role is <strong>$185,000 - $249,000 per year</strong>.
