As an OSUP employee, you will be eligible for these various benefits depending on your employment status.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Cardiovascular Sonographer performs diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound imaging exams, utilizing equipment in various modes and techniques to locate, evaluate and record pertinent anatomical pathological and functional data of the cardiovascular system.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrates a thorough understanding of clinical indications and the cardiovascular ultrasound imaging procedures performed. </li>\n <li>Independently performs all diagnostic cardiovascular examinations within ARDMS scope of practice.</li>\n <li>Prepares the report for interpretation by the physician, confirming all necessary information is present according to IAC standards and lab protocols.</li>\n <li>Acts within ARDMS scope of practice, utilizes independent, professional judgment to adapt procedure plan to optimize exam results.</li>\n <li>Clearly translates data from exam into written report for physician interpretation.</li>\n <li>Consults with physician regarding preliminary findings prior to the physician’s interpretation, including special considerations and measurements. Contact covering physician if urgent findings are present.</li>\n <li>Assures timely scheduling of urgent/add-on exams.</li>\n <li>Provides education to the patient and/or family pertaining to the exam.</li>\n <li>Ensures proper maintenance (wiping/cleaning) of equipment and willingness to troubleshoot equipment issues.</li>\n <li>Travels to all locations and clinic sites to perform job duties as scheduled</li>\n <li>Ability to perform functions using job-related software and systems.</li>\n <li>Attendance, promptness, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors, and politeness to customers, vendors, and patients.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of accredited (CAAHEP) ultrasound program (Associate or Bachelor) or equivalent education and experience  </li>\n <li>Current RDCS and prefer RVT</li>\n <li>BCLS certification.   </li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cardiovascular sonographer.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $36.66 - USD $54.97 /Hr.",
