The successful candidate may teach day, evening, weekend and online courses.<br />\r\n<br />\r\nIn addition to teaching a normal teaching load of both undergraduate courses (18 credit hours in the first academic year and 24 credit hours thereafter), the selected candidate will be expected to serve as advisor to undergraduate students.<br />\r\n<br />\r\nSelected candidate will be expected to participate in department and university committees; develop and maintain collaborative and professional partnerships with local schools and districts; hold office hours as required; conduct scholarly activities such as research in a particular field of knowledge, and submit for publication and/or presentation at professional conferences.<br />\r\nSalary range of $64,000-$75,000.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>The person selected for this position will teach Teacher Education courses particularly in Math and Science (STEM) subject areas (undergraduate) with strong field experience components, supervise student teachers, advise students, assist with recruitment and retention initiatives, engage in scholarly activity, collaborate with PK-12 and university faculty and provide service to the community.</p>\r\n",
