Explore opportunities with us and help improve the quality of life in the communities we serve.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Group: Roadway</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Position: CAD Technician</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location: Indianapolis, IN</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a CAD Technician to create coordinated 2D drawings and support model-based documentation for utility projects while upholding standards, content quality, and workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about accurate, consistent documentation.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare clear, well-annotated utility drawings, details, and schedules per standards.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with engineers to translate markups and design intent into production drawings.</li>\n <li>Maintain drawing sets, files, and references; perform routine audits for quality and consistency.</li>\n <li>Support content creation (blocks, styles, details) and sheet set organization.</li>\n <li>Assist project managers with documentation workflows and deliverable coordination.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Degree or certificate in Drafting, CAD, Civil/Architecture, or related discipline.</li>\n <li>INDOT experience preferred.</li>\n <li>At least 2 years of relative experience.</li>\n <li>Experience with Microstation/Geopak preferred.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit/GIS is a plus.</li>\n <li>Strong prioritization skills in multi-project environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
