Description

Responsibilities & Qualifications We are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our team supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency’s S&T mission on the Data Science Operations Requirements Exploitation and Engineering (DORE3). The Contracts Manager shall have full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of the contract and all task orders. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience Ten (10) years' experience as a contracts manager Demonstrate ability for oral and written communication, preferred this ability with the highest levels of management. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint preferred knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices related to Information Management operations, and with ITSM best practices Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable. Certifications CFCM or CPCM preferred Education: Bachelors in an IT-related field Law degree preferred Clearance: Mandatory Active Top-Secret Clearance with a CI Poly RESPONSIBILITIES The Contracts Manager is expected to be able to: Manage the contract lifecycle and respond to complex inquiries and issues regarding contractual obligations Review RFPs and support proposal development and submission Oversee management and processing of all contractual obligations, to include maintaining contractual files, contract status, reporting, modifications, etc. Providing continual review of contracts to ensure compliance Identify risks and issues and suggest solutions Communicate contractual requirements with business units and departments Demonstrated experience working with subcontractors. Review and negotiate agreements to include NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, etc. Perform other tasks as necessary to support various business lines Ability to read, write and respond with contractual accuracy and cogent arguments correspondence between the government, partners, and industry suppliers Effectively able to communicate with executive and management level individuals through written and verbal communication Familiarity with Government procurement, contracting and closeout Familiarity with all contract types, to include Cost-Type contracts Knowledge of DFARS and FAR regulations and requirements Overview WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.
