All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, ancestry, citizenship or immigration status, color, disability, ethnicity, familial status, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other protected status.\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>Maintains HVAC equipment, refrigeration equipment, specialty HVAC vaults, ice machines and kitchen equipment.</p>\n<h2>Major Job Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Repairs, inspects, overhauls and performs scheduled maintenance of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, refrigeration and food service equipment</li>\n <li>Maintains tight climate conditions in collection areas to ensure that environmental systems are functioning properly</li>\n <li>Installs, replaces, adjusts, and calibrates major components of refrigeration systems such as compressors, condensers, expansion valves, service valves, thermostats, coils, and drive assemblies</li>\n <li>Uses direct digital control (DDC) systems to monitor HVAC systems and operations from remote locations</li>\n <li>Checks, repairs and and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes and other functional components of the system</li>\n <li>Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and schedules</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School/GED</li>\n <li>College or trade related courses preferred</li>\n <li>5+ years related experience servicing refrigeration equipment, preferably in the service trade</li>\n <li>EPA 608 refrigeration license</li>\n <li>California driver license with less than three DMV points</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of specialty systems such as low temperature and humidity vaults with tight temperature and humidity parameters</li>\n <li>Ability to read control drawings, wiring diagrams, blue prints, and psychometric charts</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of micro processing controls and building management systems</li>\n <li>Ability to use computers or other electronic tools for trouble shooting and servicing HVAC systems, including air balancing and refrigeration equipment</li>\n <li>Familiarity with electronic work order and maintenance software</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of refrigeration tools and equipment, including but not limited to refrigeration gauges, vacuum pumps, torches, leak detector equipment, and velocity and cfm meters</li>\n <li>Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC controls and motor starters</li>\n <li>Proficient understanding of the relationship of temperature, dew point, and relative humidity</li>\n <li>Demonstrated understanding of VAV, constant volume air systems, and VFD controls</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits and Perks</h2>\n<p>Here are just some examples that Getty offers/provides for full-time employees:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, Dental and Vision insurance coverage, starting on date of hire.
