    "description": "<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>This position carries significant responsibilities including the duties of maintaining safety and comfort for the building's occupants. This requires the commitment, skill and professional demeanor of a dedicated self-starter and a team player. The nature of this position regularly requires emergency response after hours. All maintenance mechanics are required to respond to emergency calls 24 hours a day. Frequently repairs will require staying past regular quitting time to complete assignment. All extra hours will be compensated for in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.    </p>\n<h2>Job Responsibilities Include</h2>\n<p>This position will be responsible for maintaining, installing and repairing existing or new HVAC, electrical or plumbing equipment and also perform general carpentry, spackling and painting, flooring, doors locks as well as others related duties as assigned or requested.</p>\n<h2>Experience, Education, & Skills Desired</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school graduate or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Formal education from an accredited technical school preferred.</li>\n <li>5 years’ previous hands-on experience with building maintenance.  Examples include replacement of 110V outlets, replacing sink faucets, lubricating bearings, replacing motor belts, etc.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance and repairs: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, swimming pool operation, carpentry, dry wall.</li>\n <li>The safe handling of pool chemicals such as chlorine and muriatic acid.</li>\n <li>Isolating water leaks and making repairs to piping and fittings.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Work Environment & Requirements</h2>\n<p>40 hours per week.   </p>\n<p>During the training period, the employee may be required to work different days and/or hours than the regularly posted schedule.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><u>Application Instructions</u></p>\n<p>Interested applicants should forward a resume and a cover letter with salary requirements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Due to the high volume of applications that we receive, we are only able to contact those applicants whose experience most aligns with the position profile.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><u>Compensation</u></p>\n<p>$50,000</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.</em></p>",
