If you’re ready to take the next step in your career with a collaborative, supportive team, we invite you to apply today. </p>\n<h2>Highlights of your role</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Lead Request For Quotation (RFQ) events, evaluating potential suppliers based on price, quality, and overall value. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Conduct high-risk negotiations with vendors and secure favorable terms while mitigating risk </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Provide strategic direction and recommendations for assigned commodities and categories </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Develop and implement sourcing strategies and procurement processes to support long-term business needs </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Build and manage commodity supplier partnerships by facilitating and leading strategic supplier conversations </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Advise the procurement team members to drive alignment and best practices </p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>10-15 years of experience in supply chain, leadership, project management, or a related field </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Expert negotiation and supplier management skills </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Understanding of material quality requirements, processes and procedures </p></li>\n <li>Must demonstrate strong contract negotiation skills, including structuring, negotiating, and finalizing enterprise-level commodity agreements while managing risk and ensuring compliance. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Also want to make sure you have</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Strong computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office products </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Purchasing process and systems knowledge </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Professional certification (preferred) </p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>We invite you to See Yourself at Marvin</h2>\n<p>From people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
