Our team members are drawn from diverse backgrounds, offering a variety of perspectives that help Acrow develop creative, innovative solutions in collaboration with our clients and stakeholders.&nbsp;</p><p>With a global mindset and project experience in more than 150 countries, the Acrow team is proud to deliver on its shared mission of building bridges and connecting people, leaving a legacy of partnership and purpose.&nbsp;</p><p><em>Please come to our office located at 6 Canal Street, Milton, PA to complete an application.</em><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>What&rsquo;s in it for you?</strong></p><p>Medical, dental, vision, long term disability and life insurance, 401K and Paid Time Off, Voluntary Accident, Critical Illness, Hospitalization coverage.</p><p><strong>Job Title: Welder</strong></p><p><strong>Primary Purpose:</strong></p><p>Under direct supervision complete arc weld sub-assemblies and assemblies in accordance with company standards.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Arc weld parts, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and other products for structural projects involving down hand, flat, vertical and horizontal positions.</li><li>Interpret welding symbols from drawings and prints</li><li>Select proper electrodes, set up machines and adjust to meet requirements of the product</li><li>Use hoists to handle materials to and from welding area</li><li>Complete hand bending to fixtures</li><li>Identify parts required and assist fitters in the assembly of the parts.</li><li>Follow procedures in assembling parts in welding jigs and assist in perfecting proper assembly and welding sequences.</li><li>Remove slag and clean work.</li><li>Weld with stick or semi-automatic welding equipment, including gas shielded equipment.</li><li>Report production difficulties to Plant Superintendent.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains ground clamps and electrode holders.</li><li>Visually check welds and repair defective weld, check work for appearance, cracks, rust, slag, etc.</li><li>Understand all safety procedures. Ensure safe work practices are followed and maintain a safe work environment</li><li>Understand and adhere to all Acrow&rsquo;s policies and applicable laws</li><li>Travel to other Acrow Locations or Customer Sites as necessary</li><li>Perform other duties as required&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Skills and Knowledge:&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment</li><li>Excellent attention to detail</li><li>Familiar with AC or DC arc welding and semi-automatic welding equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of gas shield equipment, hoists, burning torches, portable grinders, scaling hammers, fixtures, templates, safety equipment, power and hand tools.</li><li>Sound decision making skills&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Education and Experience:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>High School diploma or GED&nbsp;</li><li>0-2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Work is performed in a production environment which requires proper safety precautions. &nbsp;Work requires physical effort in the handling of materials and equipment. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.</li><li>First and Third shift, Monday through Thursday 10 hours per day.
