You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, taking ownership of your section and contributing to a consistent, high-quality food offering. This is a hands-on role suited to a chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering well-executed dishes during service. What You’ll Be Doing Running your own section during prep and service Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation Supporting daily kitchen operations in a high-volume environment Working closely with the wider team to ensure smooth service Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards Contributing ideas to improve dishes and efficiency About the Venue The Stables at Mortonhall is a popular dining destination located within the Mortonhall Estate, serving a broad customer base including families, visitors, and regular locals. The kitchen delivers a consistent, quality-led menu with a focus on approachable dishes.
