Come join Arcwood and be part of our legacy of environmental leadership!</p>\n<h2>Essential Functions & Responsibilities </h2>\n<p>As a Field Services Technician, you will provide hands-on field support across a variety of environmental remediation and hazardous waste projects. Working safely and conscientiously, you will deliver value to both internal teams and external customers by completing project goals on site, on time, and to standard. No two days are the same — the work is physical, fast-paced, and mission-critical.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay:</strong> Pay for this role starts at $17/hour, depending on experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location & Schedule</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Reports to the Field Office at the start of each day</li>\n <li>Dispatched to project sites throughout the region during the day</li>\n <li>Returns to the office at end of day to decontaminate equipment and complete documentation</li>\n <li>Travel up to 50% of the time to regional project sites</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>A Day in the Life</strong></p>\n<p>A typical day begins at the Field Office, where you'll load tools, PPE, and supplies before heading out to one or more project sites. Daily tasks vary and may include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Cleaning and removing underground chemical storage tanks and preparing waste for disposal</li>\n <li>Demolition labor at contaminated building and land sites</li>\n <li>Operating excavation and filter press equipment</li>\n <li>Handling, loading, unloading, and sampling drums</li>\n <li>Responding to emergency spill situations as needed</li>\n <li>Using small hand tools and providing general construction support</li>\n <li>At day's end: decontaminating equipment, completing paperwork, and prepping for the next assignment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prioritize health and safety at all times — adhering to all company policies, processes, and safe work practices</li>\n <li>Prepare and transport necessary supplies, tools, and equipment to job sites</li>\n <li>Clean, scrape, and assist with the removal of underground chemical storage tanks</li>\n <li>Perform demolition labor at contaminated structures and land sites</li>\n <li>Operate excavation equipment, filter presses, and small hand tools</li>\n <li>Load, unload, and collect samples from drums; respond to emergency spills as required</li>\n <li>Decontaminate company equipment and tools after each use</li>\n <li>Complete required field documentation accurately and on time</li>\n <li>Take on additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education </h2>- High-school diploma or equivalent (required)\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid driver's license required</li>\n <li>Ability to travel up to 50% of the time</li>\n <li>Must be able to perform physically demanding work in variable outdoor conditions</li>\n <li>Must be clean shaven at all times — this role requires the ability to properly don a respirator due to potential exposure to hazardous atmospheres, waste, and materials</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits, Compensation & Workforce Diversity</h2>Arcwood offers stability you can count on and opportunities to grow.
