Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Manassas, Virginia, Toomey Technologies is a SBA certified HUBZone, and Woman Owned Small Business experienced in Program Management and Solution Implementation support services. We develop and execute strategies to maximize mission success and apply in-depth industry knowledge, analytics and expertise to design the right solution. Once the strategy is in place, we help communicate the changes and promote adoption among stakeholders.
Seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our team in Machias, Maine. The position is located in a fast-paced, incoming contact center that services a branch of the United States Department of Defense (DOD) with their human resource (HR) needs. We are looking for a candidate with office, administrative, and database experience. The ideal candidate is a highly detail-oriented team player who will be one of the points of contact at the facility, greeting others in a polite, and well-spoken manner. Must be able to multi-task efficiently, experience with database operations, attention-to-detail, customer focused, detail-oriented and possesses excellent typing skills, The ability to be empathetic, yet confident and able to work independently, as well as within a team, and with management.
Answer inquiries via telephone and respond to customer requests using excellent customer service etiquette. Log all inquiries, update information in the tracking system, and in accordance with call center procedures. Identify, research, and resolve customer inquiries using the computer system and call center resources. Escalate inquiry tickets with details of research and troubleshooting steps taken.
Possess an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one Basic computer knowledge/technological skills - adept in using search tools, browsers, e-mail features, file attachments, file transfers, etc. Excellent verbal, oral, and written communications skills. The ability to type fast, accurately, and create grammatically correct responses without any spelling or grammatical errors. Ability to comprehend, capture, and interpret basic customer information. Quality management of work – highly attentive to detail, look for means of improving, as well as promoting quality work. High level of motivation – A self-starter with the ability to make efficient use of time and resources. Computer literate with the ability to learn customer service software. Professional verbal and written communication skills and ability to type 40 wpm.
