          "text": "<p>Primary responsibilities include;</p><ul><li>Responsible for accurate month end close relating to inventory and cost of goods sold for US and Canadian manufacturing companies and Retail company owned stores.</li><li>Preparation/review of various inventory and gross profit analysis reports.</li><li>Preparation of LIFO calculations and related analysis.</li><li>Preparation/review of monthly closing journal entries and account analysis for inventory and cost of sales.</li><li>Review perpetual inventory reports and general ledger account activity for accuracy.</li><li>Responsible for the accurate valuation of physical inventories</li><li>Preparation and review of weighted average product costs and intercompany transfer prices.  Update missing transfer prices as needed.</li><li>Present analyses to management team.</li><li>Work closely with Supply Chain, Accounting, and Planning.</li><li>Preparation of required inventory schedules for quarterly and yearly financial reporting to parent company.</li><li>Liaise with internal and external auditors regarding costing and valuing inventory</li><li>Recommend and implement process improvements</li><li>Ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed.</li><li>Assist with auditing Retail physical inventories.</li></ul><p> </p>",
