Accessible only by air, the lodge delivers exceptional guest experiences through adventure, comfort, personalized service, and authentic northern hospitality.</p>\n<p>Working at Blachford Lodge is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative, energetic, and adaptable team in a truly unique off-grid environment.</p>\n<p>Flights, accommodations, and meals are provided while working on site.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Opportunity</span></p>\n<p>We are seeking Bartender &amp; Guest Services Support Staff to join our seasonal lodge operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, guest engagement, bartending, and creating memorable guest experiences in a remote luxury lodge setting.</p>\n<p>This is a dynamic and hands-on role that combines bartending, dining room service, guest programming support, aurora experiences, and front-of-house operations. Successful candidates will be adaptable, guest-focused, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment where no two days are the same.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>While this position formally reports to the Assistant Lodge Manager, team members may receive day-to-day operational direction from the Lodge Manager, Executive Chef, Sous Chef, guides, or other operational leads depending on operational requirements.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Be Doing</span></p>\n<p><em></em></p>\n<p><em>Bartending &amp; Beverage Service</em><br>• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages<br>• Manage guest tabs and process transactions using the Square POS system<br>• Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and inventory<br>• Support responsible alcohol service standards<br>• Maintain knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty beverages</p>\n<p><em></em></p>\n<p><em>Dining Room &amp; Guest Service</em><br>• Provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner table service<br>• Set, clear, and reset dining tables<br>• Deliver attentive and professional guest experiences<br>• Communicate dietary restrictions and guest requests with the kitchen team<br>• Support lounge upkeep and front-of-house presentation standards</p>\n<p><em></em></p>\n<p><em>Guest Experiences &amp; Programming</em><br>• Assist with guest activities, workshops, crafts, cultural experiences, and evening programming in collaboration with guides and lodge staff<br>• Support aurora viewing experiences and evening guest engagement<br>• Assist guests with photography support and outdoor fire preparation during aurora programming</p>\n<p><em></em></p>\n<p><em>Lodge Operations Support</em><br>• Assist with guest luggage and operational setup tasks<br>• Support general lodge cleanliness and organization<br>• Assist with activity setup and operational readiness<br>• Contribute positively to overall team operations in a remote lodge environment</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<p>• Previous bartending, serving, hospitality, or guest service experience required<br>• Experience using POS systems, including Square, considered an asset<br>• Strong interpersonal and communication skills<br>• Professional, positive, and guest-focused attitude<br>• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask<br>• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic remote environment<br>• Ability to work collaboratively within a small team<br>• Remote lodge, tourism, or camp experience considered an asset<br>• Valid alcohol service certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working at Blachford Lodge</span></p>\n<p>Working in a remote off-grid lodge environment requires flexibility, teamwork, professionalism, and adaptability.
