Being the market leader in ERP Banking, we work with the world’s Tier 1 banks with assets exceeding $3T, including J.P. Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, TD and Bank of Montreal.
We are looking for dynamic and passionate individuals to join our high performance team and contribute to our rapid growth and exciting journey.
Job Overview
The Product Manager role at FISPAN is responsible for the day-to-day execution of the product roadmap, translating high-level vision into actionable technical requirements. This role requires close alignment with Engineering, UX, and Quality Assurance teams to define specific product features and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software increments. You will serve as the primary bridge between stakeholder needs and the Engineering Team, ensuring the team has the clarity needed to build and ship with confidence.
What You’ll Do
Manage the Product Backlog: Translate business requirements and technical challenges into a clear, prioritized backlog of work for the development team.
Execute with Precision: Author detailed Jira tickets, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure technical teams understand the "what" and "why" of every task.
Support Agile Delivery: Serve as the central product lead within an agile development team, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Validate Outcomes: Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of specific features, using data to refine the backlog and improve product performance.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Design and Engineering to guide products from conception through to launch and subsequent iterations.
Champion the User: Engage with internal servicing teams and stakeholders to validate hypotheses and ensure the technical solution meets the needs of bank partners and end-users.
Key Responsibilities
Tactical Execution: Convert the product roadmap into actionable technical requirements that empower the Engineering and UX teams to build with purpose.
Sprint Leadership: Act as the primary point of communication for the development team, ensuring seamless collaboration and removing blockers during the build cycle.
Feedback Integration: Gather critical feedback from internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure development is tightly aligned with client demands.
Continuous Improvement: Establish key performance metrics for features and use direct feedback to lead a cycle of post-launch evaluation and iteration.
Subject Matter Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of core financial workflows and banking products to identify practical opportunities for value creation within the backlog.
Qualifications
Execution-Focused Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, with a proven track record of shipping B2B SaaS, Fintech, or API-first products.
Technically Fluent: Hands-on experience managing backlogs for software development teams and a comfortable understanding of API design, system architecture, and data models.
Detail-Oriented Communicator: Proven ability to translate complex requirements into deliverable components of a web application or integration.
Analytical Problem Solver: Strong ability to make tough trade-offs during a sprint, using quantitative data to support prioritization decisions.
Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building integrations for major ERP systems, included but not limited to, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Workday, Acumatica, Microsoft Business Central, or SAP.
In-depth understanding of corporate finance and banking principles. You have a strong grasp of core financial workflows (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash) and the underlying banking products that support them, such as domestic & international payments (ACH, EFT, Wires), treasury management services (cash positioning, forecasting), commercial card programs (including virtual cards), and trade finance or commercial lending concepts.
Experience with commercial virtual card payments is highly desirable.
Proven track record working on fintech, payments, or corporate banking projects.
Strong interest in how large enterprises manage money, data, and information across complex systems, with exposure to enterprise technology.
Technical proficiency in web and API technologies and integration strategies. Hands-on experience with tools like Postman and Swagger are excellent.
