    "description": "<h2>The Opportunity</h2>\n<p><strong>RS&H is currently seeking a structural building engineering associate to join our team. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote. As part of the buildings team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by compiling data and assisting with permit and report preparation; completing elementary design calculations and engineering plans; performing basic design tasks utilizing engineering software and technology; preparing drawings and visual aids; and performing as-needed field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects to gain increased understanding of construction practices and design applications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To be successful in this role, you must:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Have a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or an equivalent combination of education and experience. </li>\n <li>0-3 years experience </li>\n <li>Have awareness of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.</li>\n <li>Possess basic knowledge of production software.</li>\n <li>Have a passion for engineering and a willingness to grow and learn.</li>\n <li>Possess solid oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If this sounds like the role for you and you're ready to join an amazing team, please apply.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>An Equal Opportunity Employer.
