The selected candidate will support design development, project coordination, construction initiatives, and long-term departmental succession planning.</p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Assist and shadow the Director of Architecture in schematic interior and exterior design processes for hotels, restaurants, conference and convention centers, entertainment venues, landscapes, and other hospitality developments.</li><li>Support design development through collaboration with project teams and outside consultants utilizing BIM and other design technologies.</li><li>Assist with project management efforts for new construction and renovation projects.</li><li>Collaborate with operations leadership and executive teams to develop innovative, efficient, and functional design solutions.</li><li>Participate in planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Assist with project documentation, design presentations, and design review processes.</li><li>Learn and support current Director of Architecture responsibilities with the intent to develop into future leadership opportunities.</li><li>Maintain awareness of hospitality design trends, construction methods, and emerging technologies.</li><li>Travel to project sites as required.</li><li>Embrace O&rsquo;Reach, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, Health &amp; Wellness, and Safety culture.</li><li>Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills &amp; Abilities:</strong></p><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Strong communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.</li><li>Demonstrated creativity and passion for innovative design.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.</li><li>Proficiency in design software and building information modeling tools.</li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and leadership levels.</li><li>Positive attitude, adaptability, and desire for continuous learning.</li><li>Interest in hospitality and commercial development projects.</li><li>Desire to grow into future leadership opportunities.</li></ul><p><strong>Education &amp; Experience:</strong></p><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Architecture required.</li><li>Architectural licensure preferred but not required.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of architectural or related project experience preferred.</li><li>Experience with hospitality, commercial, mixed-use, or development projects preferred.</li><li>Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, BIM software, or related design platforms preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Hours:</strong></p><p>Due to the nature of the business, scheduling may vary and include evenings, weekends, and travel as business needs require.</p><p>Physical Requirements of the Position:</p><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li>Light to Moderate Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible force frequently to move objects.</li><li>Requires sitting, standing, walking, and travel between locations.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Activity of the Position:</strong></p><p>Activities include sitting, standing, walking, reaching, typing, talking, hearing, driving, occasional lifting, and repetitive motion.</p><p><strong>Visual Acuity Requirements:</strong></p><p>Must have visual acuity to prepare and review drawings, plans, construction documents, and electronic design files.</p><p><strong>Environmental Conditions:</strong></p><p>Inside: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
