    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Title: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</strong>Truck Driver &ndash; Short Haul</p><p><strong>Reports to: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>Warehouse Supervisor</p><p><strong>Hours: &nbsp;</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;15-29 hours per week. Make your own schedule between the hours of Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm (based on available loads).&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong></p><p>The Short Haul Truck Driver is responsible for a wide range of tasks including loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products, shipping returns, and performing general duties and maintenance around the warehouse and grounds.</p><p><strong><u>Essential Duties</u></strong></p><ul><li>Comply with all safety, quality, and warehouse regulations.</li><li>Obey all traffic laws and Department of Transportation regulations.</li><li>Perform safety checks on all trucking equipment before and after each departure.</li><li>Report any mechanical issues right away to Supervisor.</li><li>Represent the company and the trucking industry in a professional manner.</li><li>Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment while loading, unloading, and moving materials in the warehouse.</li><li>Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship/transport).</li><li>Transport loads from warehouse to customer location in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.</li><li>Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).</li><li>Inspect product for defects/damages and report issues to Supervisor.</li><li>Accurately maintain Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records.</li><li>Keep clean and safe working area and vehicle.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Required Skills and Abilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to communicate in both the written and spoken language of English to a level that will allow the safe and effective performance of the job.</li><li>Ability to read, interpret, and distinguish road signage.</li><li>Ability to utilize GPS and maps to safely manage time and efficiency of the transportation of goods.</li><li>Ability to operate various material handling tools such as powered industrial trucks, pallet jacks, etc.</li><li>Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without direct supervision.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.</li><li>Ability to maintain effectiveness and composure in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with people across different teams, departments, and physical locations.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Education and Experience</u></strong></p><ul><li>Current valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.</li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain DOT medical card.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of one year of experience loading and unloading in warehouse environment preferred.</li><li>Previous experience with inventory software, databases, and systems preferred.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move around for extended periods of time.</li><li>Ability to safely lift, carry, and move objects of various weights, up to 50 pounds, regularly.</li><li>Proficiency in using hands, fingers, and arms for tasks such as typing and writing.</li><li>Sufficient visual acuity to read documents and recognize details at close and distant ranges.</li><li>Ability to hear and understand verbal communication.</li><li>Flexibility to bend, stoop, and reach low or high objects.</li><li>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying heavy objects.</li><li>Adaptability to work in varying environmental conditions, such as temperature extremes, noise, dust, or fumes, depending on the nature of the job.</li><li>Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear protective gear, including helmets, goggles, gloves, and safety shoes, as required by the job.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Company Culture &amp;
